Peace with God

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:1-2

A picturesque landscape painting depicts a serene forest scene at sunset. A vibrant, almost otherworldly, sky filled with a vast expanse of the Milky Way and numerous stars contrasts with the warm, golden hues of the setting sun.

The foreground features a meadow filled with colorful flowers, including roses, dahlias, and others, creating a profusion of blooms. A small, winding river or stream flows through the meadow, reflecting the colors of the sky. Several deer are visible on the hillside, peacefully grazing near a large tree root system.

Mid-ground shows a hillside covered with lush, green trees, varying in shades of green and brown. The trees frame a valley extending into the distance with more trees and rolling hills.

Two children, a girl and a boy, stand hand-in-hand on the meadow’s edge, gazing up at the spectacular starry sky. The girl wears a dark, possibly maroon or brown dress. The boy is dressed in a light-brown or beige-colored tunic or shirt. Their posture suggests they are in awe or contemplation of the natural beauty before them.

The painting has a highly detailed aesthetic, focusing on the rich texture of the colors and the varied tones throughout the scene.

The overall impression is one of idyllic beauty, peacefulness.
