Banished from Eden

And the Lord God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.’

So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

Genesis 3:22-23

A landscape bathed in the warm hues of a dramatic sunset.

Two figures, a man and a woman, are seated on the sandy shore of a calm river.

The man, with long, dark hair and a weathered appearance, is dressed in a simple, earthy-toned animal skin. He appears slumped and disheartened, his head bowed in apparent sorrow.

The woman, with equally long, dark hair, a simple head covering, and is dressed in a similar, rough garment, sits beside him with a less melancholic expression.

The river reflects the colorful sky, and the surrounding landscape is composed of dark, towering pine trees.

A striking, stormy sky with vibrant streaks of lightning dominates the upper portion of the image.

Logs and rocks litter the shoreline, adding to the sense of a rustic, primitive setting. The color palette is rich and evocative, blending warm tones of sunset with the darkness of the storm clouds above.

The overall impression is one of hardship and solitude in the face of a powerful natural force.
