Who Were You?

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Isaiah 57:1-2

A melancholic scene of a figure, resembling a nature spirit or goddess, is intertwined with the forest floor and the base of ancient trees. Its body and limbs are composed of twisting, mossy, root-like structures, and its face is surrounded by an elaborate crown of vibrant blue flowers. The figure appears to be resting or meditating, its head in its hand, reflecting a contemplative mood.

The trees are large and ancient-looking, with massive, gnarled branches and trunks reaching into a hazy, light-blue sky. Lush, overgrown vegetation, including moss and greenery, covers the ground and wraps around the tree trunks, contributing to the overall sense of ancient wilderness. In the foreground, nestled among a field of bright violet/blue bell-shaped flowers, lies a skull, also partially covered with moss and other flora, giving the image a sense of peaceful decay.

The use of light and color creates a dreamlike, ethereal atmosphere, with soft light filtering through the trees and highlighting the detailed textures of the image.
