Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle?

A large-scale painting depicts a fantastical cityscape rising from a dramatic, misty waterfall. Massive, billowing clouds of white and gray fill the upper portion of the scene, seemingly a storm or a supernatural event.

Water cascades down the side of the city, appearing as white streaks. The city itself is a collection of beige and light gray buildings, various heights and styles, which fill the middle ground. The buildings are densely packed, creating a sense of height and depth.

A calm river flows along the base of the city, reflecting the sky and clouds. Autumnal trees line the riverbank on either side, showcasing shades of orange and brown leaves. Small groups of people are visible along the riverbank in the lower portion of the scene, appearing as tiny figures against the backdrop.

The overall effect is one of grandeur, mystery, and a powerful, almost apocalyptic, natural force. The style suggests a blend of realism and fantasy, with a focus on detail and atmospheric perspective.
